 0:18 interestingly this was totally a
 0:20 coincidence but although it says 41 or
 0:23 42 we're on 41 right now so I suppose
 0:25 it's a legit either way but this video
 0:27 that we put together just this morning
 0:29 for you guys on the ornate moon dials
 0:32 that we're putting into the game we have
 0:35 some lue dials in the MRA but we're
 0:37 creating these ornate ones for our 42
 0:39 set of the live next week and they have
 0:42 some special effects you click on them
 0:44 and if they're outdoors you can actually
 0:46 see the moon dial like how the seasons
 0:50 and the stars and love and doing it all
 0:56 again all everything lines up into a
 0:58 beautiful array and it actually
 1:00 seriously it matches the sky to the moon
 1:03 dial depending on what the setting of
 1:04 the moon dial to turn it on or off looks
 1:06 very very cool and we thought well you
 1:09 know screenshots don't do something like
 1:12 that justice you have to have a video to
 1:13 should really show it off so we created
 1:15 this video and with help of Scott Jones
 1:19 Scotty here at the office you guys did
 1:21 see him on the livestream before and we
 1:23 put it together and notice that the
 1:26 timing was 42 seconds so it's a short
 1:29 video just go ahead and see the teaser
 1:30 for it and sometimes it'll flip to 41
 1:34 for some weird reason something would
 1:35 you - I need a side of those nice
 1:37 coincidence so as you guys know my name
 1:39 is Matthew Barry Anderson I go by Barry

 1:52 theme today is magic movers or what we
 1:55 call magic movers but really the
 1:57 property manager and how you can
 1:59 literally move an entire decorated house
 2:03 to another block even in a different
 2:06 theme from one scene to another it's
 2:08 very very cool we got some guys are
 2:10 going to come on and show you this
 2:13 you're just a bit of right at the moment
 2:15 we have some special guests some very
 2:19 hardworking guests who don't get a lot
 2:20 of camera time or in this case ever
 2:22 always will not always often down so are
 2:26 longer and behind the mask alawi we've
 2:29 got all the news and other things that
 2:31 to share with you know five questions
 2:35 that stars out today so we will not will
 2:38 not have the questions as usual need a
 2:41 break from that every once a lot of

 3:38 want to know what it what are the Vella

 3:42 responding to your posts in the

 3:49 everybody who is on this team will have
 3:52 is to go to the dev tracker games up
 3:54 tracker yeah it's in the menu submenu of
 3:56 the forms click on dev tracker and you
 3:59 can see all the updates from all of us
 4:01 replies new threads about you know maybe
 4:05 we created a blog of a couple of
 4:08 developers just this week created some
 4:10 blogs about some of the stuff that went
 4:11 into the weekly update which is why and
 4:13 also you should have gotten the email by
 4:17 now we just sent it out that takes a
 4:18 little bit of time
 4:19 but a lot of good stuff in there and
 4:21 that's all reflected in the forms as
 4:23 well
 4:23 so you're mainly in the I'm trying to
 4:29 come up with a funny name for I should
 4:31 thought of this in advance but like the
 4:32 I guess what do you call the QA section
 4:34 of the forms in the bond form the bus
 4:36 knows you the the layer flaws we have a
 4:40 layer of law LOL and you've been getting
 4:44 more help recently yes i I mean it's
 4:47 almost like that health is somewhere
 4:49 nearby oh hello hello so I actually like
 4:54 to introduce all of you we should have
 4:56 done that several weeks ago but due to
 4:59 some circumstances I think you're hiding
 5:01 really away from the cameras this is our
 5:04 first live stream where we are going to

 5:12 localization and QA specialist and what
 5:16 do you go by in the park

 5:25 responded to some of our community who
 5:27 is hopefully been nice and considerate
 5:29 yeah everyone's been great I was
 5:31 appreciative for everyone and finding
 5:33 more information people will come back

 5:37 know that takes time and work and we're
 5:39 really focusing on a lot of different
 5:41 directions researh is commanding
 5:43 multiple hats right now I don't know how
 5:46 you do it you are in the QA forms care
 5:48 Bosh you've got localization here and
 5:54 and then sitting right next to Sarah as
 5:56 well yeah Sarah Dorkin who is surfing in
 5:59 the barns and she's a customer's
 6:01 important lead and also working put that
 6:05 trio you've got a great room and a lot
 6:07 of activity going on there power trio
 6:09 yeah so it's really great that you guys
 6:11 are in the forum so if you have any
 6:12 questions for Reese or Andrea as you
 6:16 post and they respond go ahead and
 6:18 respond to them they're always taking
 6:20 called 24/7 Saturday and Sunday right oh
 6:23 yeah okay maybe not quite that I mean
 6:25 you may see me in there yeah I'll sneak
 6:27 in yeah all right so I don't know if
 6:30 there's anything else
 6:31 want to talk about localization we
 6:32 actually had in the weekly update a
 6:34 little bit of an update on the
 6:36 statistics I think oh yeah we are
 6:40 tracking localization every update now
 6:42 so if you haven't seen the weekly
 6:43 updates going out check them out wearing
 6:45 a new section that tracks the progress
 6:47 the percentages of each language in the
 6:51 localization as well as the full
 6:55 progress of all languages together and
 6:59 we've actually done some really cool
 7:01 things I think that we haven't been able
 7:02 to do the last time we try to support
 7:04 localization as which is actually
 7:06 getting working conversations going
 7:08 recently I'm happy to say that some of
 7:10 the early NPCs for Arabella and the
 7:15 Oracle and Iowa storm should be
 7:17 localizable in both German and French
 7:20 and hopefully other languages as they
 7:22 continue to work on error validation so
 7:24 we're really excited to see that going
 7:27 along and to be able to test working
 7:28 translated context in the game yeah I
 7:30 know the community is a bit of a clause
 7:33 there for a localization for a while
 7:35 though you know we're getting really
 7:36 back into it especially as we get closer
 7:38 closer to a episode one completion and
 7:41 an official launch date yet to be
 7:44 determined
 7:45 but we are getting closer very exciting
 7:48 there I see some comments on twitch here
 7:50 in response to you being invited to the
 7:54 to the team here give it a week you will
 7:56 hate it I promise I will not hate you
 7:58 trust me this is not my first video it
 8:01 will be fine there we go I you know I I
 8:05 don't think I don't think it's possible
 8:06 for you it is because well you were one
 8:10 of them were you not yeah actually I
 8:13 found out of position by Washington live
 8:15 stream so I've definitely been a party
 8:19 to me for a long time now
 8:20 to be able to work on what is my
 8:23 favorite game is just a dream come true
 8:25 see it does happen is when I first start
 8:28 in the industry is either was this
 8:31 feeling of like oh you never can get in
 8:33 the game series it's so difficult and no
 8:35 developers notice any community work
 8:38 this was so special about our community
 8:40 and why we posted that look back of the
 8:43 last year of how we've interacted with
 8:45 the community that was one of the new
 8:47 that goals I was actually going to
 8:48 mention the community article that's
 8:50 been a weekly update now as well
 8:51 reflects upon our work communicating to
 8:54 the community and also in turn seeing
 8:56 what the community does not only to us
 8:59 in trying to provide feedback and curate
 9:01 forms but also between each other and
 9:03 creating events and it is we notice all
 9:07 of it if you post something especially
 9:10 if it's an initiative or an event that
 9:12 people are spawned to and contribute to
 9:14 we see that stuff and if maybe it
 9:17 doesn't always feel like that you know
 9:19 you're doing a lot of work here like I'm
 9:21 wondering if the developers are seeing
 9:22 you know this event or don't worry we're
 9:25 always watching yeah we may not be able
 9:27 to respond everything I mean there's so
 9:29 much going on and if we miss something
 9:31 it's not because we're ignoring it it's
 9:32 because we simply well the word missed
 9:34 it so if you really have whether it's
 9:37 something you want us to post in the
 9:39 community event section or let one of
 9:41 these guys know got go use me then
 9:44 please let us know report it you can
 9:46 report report doesn't in the forms now

 10:23 concerned about this or that in the
 10:25 forms there's this post blah blah
 10:27 whatever that gets our attention so

 11:08 so it's good it's going to be really a
 11:10 lot of fun and that's coming up in
 11:11 t-minus a weekend and then before we do
 11:14 so it's going to be great so I'll let

 12:01 that last time it wasn't quite long
 12:02 enough didn't get enough time for you
 12:05 guys to you know fight your friends and
 12:07 help us spread the word about this free
 12:10 trial cut so that's going on that ends
 12:12 on May 31st as well so the summer
 12:14 telethon day is going to be a huge day
 12:17 for a lot of stuff in fact we've got
 12:18 just as another reminder community our
 12:20 and some other community initiatives
 12:22 going on during that time - hey guys
 12:24 come on in
 12:25 alright and I've been mentioned it kind
 12:28 of already but released 42 you guys are
 12:30 really gearing up for parents of that I
 12:32 want to know what specific you've been
 12:34 working on for that release but for you
 12:38 can mention that stuff as well in fact

 12:42 and before we get into magic movers and
 12:44 the
 12:45 all the tools we can imagine what I
 12:47 would have to quote because like that's
 12:49 not actually fast all manual is it
 12:52 acting like if there was another stable
 12:54 legacy name right this will be sort of
 12:56 called it code Cantonese if it's nice
 12:59 M&M Aquino so I got lucky and Ken you
 13:03 guys are programmers yes okay I think I
 13:06 see half of the I wanted we kinda have
 13:09 to cut a little bit to make this work
 13:11 for the community so you guys are both
 13:14 program and sit next to each other where
 13:17 Chris esos spheres is at that room and
 13:20 why don't you just like say what your
 13:24 nickname is in the forum so they
 13:25 recognize you for the forum dollars and
 13:27 okay just some of the reasons some
 13:28 people for crafts sure so I mean wizard
 13:31 smoke I'm a programmer as Barry said and
 13:36 this release of the main thing that I've
 13:39 been working on is a mail system we do
 13:43 have a sort of limited version of the
 13:46 mail system that is going to go into our
 13:48 there are 42 but it's going to be
 13:52 limited to just receiving mail so you'll
 13:54 be able to receive notifications or your
 13:57 vendor sales and possibly other types of
 14:01 similar events that's really cool
 14:03 because I know the communities they have
 14:05 been eager to you guys give a shout out
 14:08 in twitch and discord if you are like
 14:11 mail mail now don't go I've already said
 14:13 they're very excitable you guys do I'm
 14:16 excited about to it I'm going to be more
 14:18 excited next release when we were
 14:22 planning to turn on sending mail so that
 14:26 would be exciting so next release being
 14:28 our 42 or 43 us already 300s so we have
 14:32 a bit of a journey on this right that's
 14:33 cool just alright and you're working on
 14:35 that taken nope I'm nothing working
 14:38 Ellison and I'll be excited about it
 14:40 yeah that combination for week so I
 14:43 didn't do a whole lot this relief I came
 14:46 back to see that lucky and mostly done
 14:49 that's very small come back and look at
 14:51 his progress on that miss release I've
 14:53 actually not done a whole lot done a lot
 14:56 of fixes for a build process and made
 15:00 some changes there and trying to right
 15:03 now trying to fix some bugs it popped up
 15:06 in a t56 I hate to do it with AI
 15:08 reducing okay so we got a request here
 15:10 from one stranger change the main window
 15:13 if you're using idle care okay so I
 15:15 guess we can do that we didn't do that
 15:16 for Andrea and Reese were here
 15:20 introducing themselves and we had a
 15:23 window like this and we have this really
 15:25 beautiful where am I they're in it was
 15:27 really beautiful house we're in hometown
 15:29 right now folks just in case you to know
 15:30 you can run over to hometown find Derek
 15:34 I'm using my character in game right now
 15:36 and go ahead and shout say hi and dance
 15:38 and you know whatever you want

 16:26 which is related to magic movers and
 16:28 stuff is kind of a system to enable you
 16:32 to share your lots even more than Ken
 16:34 now it's described as renting rooms but
 16:38 kind of what I'm going to do is enable
 16:40 real ownership of items on someone
 16:43 else's blood so right now everything you
 16:46 put on a lot is owns potentially by that
 16:48 owner so you have to kind of trust the
 16:50 people maybe share a lot with and you
 16:54 put something on there and he get the
 16:55 pictures or something
 16:56 that your stuff goes to that owners bank
 16:58 so the next feature is hopefully make it
 17:02 so you can put something on someone else
 17:04 with lots but still high would be
 17:05 secured so he can't even pick it up if
 17:07 you want to can finish your bank to get
 17:09 it off the block it's his life he only
 17:11 doing one but guarantee the security of
 17:14 your items and not someone related to
 17:17 the magic water system I probably
 17:18 manager because you'll be able to use
 17:21 some of this UI to recover your items if
 17:24 someone managed moved there a lot to
 17:27 another place and you can't find your
 17:28 items or for the tables like this so
 17:31 it'll be a future feature than with new
 17:33 awesome
 17:34 yeah that's a that's really exciting
 17:35 there's a lot of interest in seeing more
 17:39 flexibility and who can rent out you
 17:43 know parts of you know their town or
 17:44 their house and you know that magic
 17:48 movers the rent system the mail system
 17:51 all that's going to come together I
 17:52 think into a really nice way to interact
 17:56 with other community members other
 17:59 players and feel efficiently efficiently
 18:02 like you know not only to say things to
 18:05 them literally communicate but also be
 18:07 able to provide them with some stuff in
 18:09 the towns and as it's clear on counter
 18:11 one of the big things of the game
 18:13 alright so now that they've seen us I
 18:17 think I think we're back on new yeah I
 18:20 already talked about all the new sudden
 18:21 we're good on that I actually thought I
 18:24 printed out the priceless I hinted
 18:26 earlier I said we have some prizes J I'm
 18:28 usually I give a prize away at this
 18:30 point unfortunately I don't seem to have
 18:32 that printed out so I'm going to go run
 18:34 and give that well you guys you're able
 18:37 to buy our way like I could actually go

 18:55 you know how this basically works if you

 19:11 giving you guys a tour of the magic
 19:14 movers feature not actually called magic
 19:17 movers I think it's important to point
 19:19 that out so the way that you use this
 19:22 feature in the game is you go to the
 19:26 property manager and that is you can
 19:29 access it from this window selector here
 19:31 let's trap this down and then find
 19:33 property manager and so this will show
 19:38 you a basically an interface of all of
 19:42 your different Lots that you've owned in
 19:44 the game so each one of these little
 19:48 deep little paper looking things is a
 19:51 different lot that berrak owns in the
 19:54 game scroll down see there's a whole
 19:56 bunch of them each one of these has two
 20:01 different parts so as you know when you
 20:04 own a lot there are two different parts
 20:06 that lot there's the top part that has
 20:08 the house right so here's the house
 20:10 that's on this lot and then there's the
 20:13 bottom part which is the basement
 20:15 so here's a little key for that basement
 20:19 so the cool thing about the property
 20:22 manager is that it lets you swap out
 20:27 either the house or the basement on your
 20:31 property so let's say you had two
 20:33 different ones and two different Lots
 20:35 and you wanted to move the house from
 20:38 one to the other you could do that or
 20:40 maybe you just have one lot and you want
 20:43 to have sort of a few different
 20:44 configurations for that lock you can
 20:46 also do that as well and also for play
 20:49 around towns where we have town numbers
 20:51 that can move move the whole lot like an
 20:54 NBC town you live static and they can't
 20:56 move around going a player on town town
 20:59 or it could actually move that marker so
 21:00 you know slightly to the left slightly
 21:02 to the right you can make some changes
 21:04 so instead of having to redecorate your
 21:05 whole house like you have to before you
 21:07 can now putting them storage tell the
 21:10 homeowner to move that marker rotate it
 21:12 a different way just restore anything
 21:14 right back out what all right a good
 21:16 used to exploit yeah another sort of
 21:20 example that we put into the
 21:22 instructions you know you might have
 21:24 like your party house and then that you
 21:29 only bring out sometimes but most the
 21:30 time you have your like storefront or
 21:32 something that you know so so you'd be
 21:36 able to easily switch between those
 21:37 different modes of play that that you
 21:40 want for your honor I guess are good and
 21:44 sort of demonstrate some of this let's
 21:48 see which lot are we activate if I'm a
 21:51 third one and third one okay yes okay so
 21:54 I can see my house there sure than one
 21:57 story I use the years in my property
 22:00 manager list right right yeah I used to
 22:02 have there's a funny very tragic story
 22:04 about this so the first time I mean this
 22:07 was a warning to you all you by the way
 22:09 the first time I use the property
 22:11 manager I was I was just messing around
 22:13 with it and I was looking at what Lots I
 22:14 had when I click on a certain lot and
 22:18 long story short I had a very well
 22:22 decorated Viking I think it knows in the
 22:26 Viking one it was what is going on here
 22:29 actually looks pretty good are you high
 22:31 it's so many types of sneak up on me
 22:34 yeah good yeah you're coming off on my
 22:37 worried it's really simple either said
 22:39 anyway long story short I had a fully
 22:41 decorated house and I lost it all while
 22:45 I didn't lose all the items I went to my
 22:46 bank before I was properly used the move
 22:50 magic moves to preserve it because I was
 22:52 so easy to use that Lockheed on another
 22:55 lot and it's just you lit up one
 22:58 claiming yeah but I'm claiming or you
 23:00 moved it into the matching realities of
 23:02 our cognize yeah so all thousands of
 23:05 items in or however many in the house
 23:07 that were finely decorated in all areas
 23:09 were we'll just put into the bank
 23:13 alright so hopefully the property
 23:15 manager will help sort of avoid those
 23:17 types of generation yes that's what I
 23:19 like I remember to use it yes you guys
 23:21 gotta remember to use the
 23:23 and I have some plans which I'll mention
 23:24 a little later for some future
 23:26 enhancements the beach of Adar none yet
 23:28 because some people like the door open
 23:31 in my house and how they're like what so
 23:33 but to make the default thing not to
 23:36 send everything to the bank like what
 23:37 happened to you but to make people to
 23:39 send things to the property man get
 23:41 storage so if you did accidentally do
 23:43 that thing where you didn't pass him we
 23:46 would save you by say hello instead of
 23:47 go to the bank we um put your stuff here
 23:49 for now you want taking things to the
 23:51 bank later so if you have the enemy
 23:54 squads available then we can sort of
 23:56 make it a little bit nicer and and sort
 23:59 of save you from the trouble trying to
 24:00 put redecorating your whole house in
 24:02 basement okay yeah that's very good at
 24:04 about I definitely still some some
 24:06 progress to make on this feature but I
 24:09 think that what we have right now is
 24:10 pretty powerful second part of that
 24:13 story I have to say this because I'm
 24:16 still so upset about it I type in
 24:18 community I need to like express this to
 24:20 leave my emotional distress so this was
 24:23 literally this one long ago
 24:26 we've only had the magic mover tonight
 24:28 game four when did they go on Marvin
 24:31 Arthur designer 39 yes not done yes it
 24:35 was literally like a month before this
 24:37 happened the scenario this tragedy where
 24:40 I was I still had an open online account
 24:42 and I had a house there and I haven't
 24:45 been you know on very often I closed the
 24:48 account for like three months and then
 24:50 turn it back on to make sure my house
 24:52 was there well it was four months and I
 24:55 forgot and I logged into somebody else's
 24:57 house because my house fell in all
 25:00 thousands of ruined books there were
 25:02 others like foreign room books thousands
 25:03 of ruins themselves all dropped
 25:06 means somebody picked them up at some
 25:07 point and then somebody put a new house
 25:09 there and so I've been having a bad year
 25:11 so far I don't put my other place on
 25:13 Mommy's a lot of good night
 25:16 after my house is gone where Oh Times
 25:20 Gary's getting teacher Han right okay
 25:22 they're screwing for prizes here we we
 25:24 have I wrote him down here
 25:26 on my yellow deck right now yeah if you
 25:30 guys do reading you get a prize like

 27:25 lot or any other lot later on and all
 27:28 the decorations
 27:29 in the same place a scupper so let's

 27:33 pick up this house and just drop it in
 27:36 the storage over here so those are you
 27:38 sure

 27:41 happen to the people on the locks when

 41:33 moving you know potentially hundreds of
 41:36 items across the world which is about
 41:38 something that you can you usually do
 41:40 very easily you have to load up the
 41:42 character with encumbrance walk across
 41:44 the world or trying to teleport slowly
 41:47 so there's a fee associated with moving
 41:50 these items and it's based on the size
 41:53 of the locks right so I don't have the
 41:56 exact table for me but right here the
 41:58 bill is a lot of six crowns and I
 41:59 believe it polishes is looking down by
 42:01 one counter right so I think that might
 42:05 be what it is so the robot would
 42:07 probably costs 5 crowns you want to move
 42:09 the basement or the house six or village
 42:12 seven for channel in the kitchen and so
 42:16 it helps limit the transport of items
 42:18 across the world which is really the
 42:22 main goal for the piece and it will cost
 42:25 you a separate fee for both basements
 42:27 and houses so if I want to move that how
 42:29 and abasement I don't have to pay the
 42:30 fee twice right all right let's move it
 42:34 so now we have a basement connected I'm
 42:38 really curious if my players or you I
 42:40 don't think no people know I'm going to

 52:20 little gear icon on at the bank and then
 52:24 selecting locate player vendor items and
 52:27 so this is a list of all of your items
 52:29 that are on player vendors throughout
 52:33 the whole world and it'll so it tells
 52:35 you what what it is and where it's
 52:37 located so you can either just leave it
 52:41 there just know where it is or you can
 52:43 select it and then send that item to the
 52:46 bank so that's that's a way that you can
 52:50 retrieve your item either if the vendor

 59:34 village house but you want to move to
 59:35 your town law and so because the town of
 59:38 bigger than the village technically all

 59:46 that data to sit on a bigger lot because
 59:48 the positions will be different but
 59:51 theoretically we could make it so you
