 05:28 marathon running for miles and miles the
 05:30 aisles for a hundred thousand miles from
 05:33 hundred thousand miles is really is a
 05:34 extreme marathon but it's for charity if

 05:40 think they have maps of the course and
 05:42 all that good stuff it's coming up this
 05:43 Sunday we're gonna be there this Sunday
 05:45 here in Austin by the way so you know
 05:47 that's why we can actually go to the
 05:49 thing and some of us are going to be
 05:50 participating but we'll take some photos
 05:51 it's gonna be fun it's gonna be for
 05:54 charity for the Children's Miracle
 05:55 Network Hospital miracle and hospital
 05:58 network I always get that backwards you
 06:00 guys get the idea you can look it up on
 06:01 our weekly update that we just put up
 06:03 all the information is there and the
 06:05 airy phone is helping the lead charge on
 06:07 that we also have the magnificent trophy
 06:10 room's contest now we've been seeing a
 06:14 lot of talk about this not a lot of
 06:16 submissions yet but we know that there's
 06:18 some really cool trophy rooms from last
 06:20 year at least they're waiting for the
 06:21 Bears
 06:22 oh yes bears bears trophies well you
 06:27 guys were there wait well fortunately
 06:28 this contest goes beyond release 51 so
 06:32 you guys have enough time to you know
 06:33 get it ready you can just go from Radio
 06:35 and then throw in the bears grab one of
 06:39 those and therapy and it was kind enough
 06:43 to give us an update on the physical
 06:45 ward so I can skip that X layer it has a
 06:47 fun little campground sleepover event
 06:50 this weekend check it out also in the
 06:52 weekly update Congrats
 06:54 to the syndicate guild for 22 years way
 06:59 to do 22 years in gaming I remember
 07:02 meeting the syndicate
 07:03 you know Ultima Online back and was it
 07:05 the babe it wasn't a beta like 90 like
 07:11 I've known those guys we've known those
 07:12 guys for a long long time and now
 07:14 they're here in Sharlee avatar
 07:16 supporting the game having fun and we
 07:18 wanted to give them a shout-out for
 07:21 that's Ginny's there's literally a
 07:23 Guinness Book of World Records in
 07:26 longest run they're old enough to drink
 07:28 now 22 yeah oh hey John anyway so we've
 07:35 got also related we had a couple of
 07:38 other guilds that had some pretty big
 07:41 anniversaries and just a shout out to
 07:44 guilds in general you guys are awesome
 07:46 you are what helps me the aim happened
 07:49 and so we support you whenever you have
 07:52 an anniversary or other special event
 07:54 also did you know did you know we have
 07:57 this special little feature thanks to El
 07:58 garyun that we have features in the game
 08:03 that may seem difficult may seem
 08:07 challenging but there's always a way
 08:08 around that whether it's getting a group
 08:10 together to feed them or some other
 08:12 special item you need to get to use to
 08:16 take them down that sort of thing so we
 08:19 have a new did you know in the weekly
 08:20 updates and what we're going to do
 08:22 actually with those is we're not we're
 08:24 gonna change these weekly updates just a
 08:26 little bit we used to have did you knows
 08:28 every week and those walkthrough videos
 08:31 every week oh I want to give you guys
 08:34 kind of a more focused theme each week
 08:36 especially three new players if you're
 08:38 just joining us from shroud of the
 08:39 avatar you want to know what how to get
 08:40 started and how do I get a house how do
 08:42 I go you know hunting all of that stuff
 08:45 we're going to do one or the other for
 08:47 each week a little more focused
 08:50 more fun anyway so let's not just video
 08:52 like your video i Furby which the video

 08:57 YouTube channel that's all the news I
 08:59 hand and I see you have something news

 09:37 alright so we just put out the update
 09:40 chock-full of goodness it's got a lot of
 09:44 great things in it we're finished with
 09:46 all the released 49 telephone items so
 09:51 you can see all of those the Snowman
 09:53 snow dragon he is so cute I mean he is
 09:56 he's probably the cutest snow thing
 09:59 we've ever made he's super cute
 10:01 he's got : candle in his nose like we're
 10:05 his flames would go he's super super
 10:08 cute cross pipe with chuckling with
 10:12 snowballs that's all in there we
 10:14 announced our release 51 post mortem
 10:16 telethon and it's an honor darkstar's
 10:20 birthday so it's darkstar it's me and so
 10:26 all of the stretch goals are Darkstar
 10:30 chaos related stuff so there's a dark
 10:35 star Morningstar you know so it's a maze
 10:37 where we don't have all the spikes the
 10:39 chaos arrows coming out of the morning
 10:42 star and all sorts of cool like Dark
 10:45 Star pavers and the dark star throne so
 10:48 all sorts of cool stuff oh and the moat
 10:52 is going to be a mush so it's gonna be
 10:58 it's gonna be pretty awesome
 11:00 and of course we'll be mo capping mo
 11:02 capping that and so I'm very excited for
 11:06 that telethon as you can tell because
 11:08 it's my birthday and so we now Sasuke
 11:12 you start submitting your questions for
 11:14 that and release 51 is on the QA server
 11:17 so jump on there and test we've already
 11:18 got a bunch of people on there actually
 11:20 we've had record numbers on there
 11:22 testing because all sorts of amazing
 11:24 stuff on there including the new skill
 11:27 specialization where you can focus on a
 11:29 specific scale or spell school and get
 11:33 all sorts of cool bonuses on their lost
 11:35 veil is on there which looks amazing the
 11:40 new ghost visual effects the new bears
 11:44 dumpers which you know if you want that
 11:48 for your new trophies oh and speaking of
 11:50 trophies you know so way back in
 11:53 released 44 I think we had introduced
 11:56 the new dragon colors and so the we
 12:00 finally got corresponding trophy heads
 12:03 for those colored dragon Soaker if you
 12:06 want to go out and brave fighting
 12:08 dragons you can now collect all the
 12:10 different color trophy heads for killing
 12:12 those guys and new harvestable trees we
 12:16 showed the pictures of those in the new
 12:18 update oh and release 51 includes the
 12:22 ability to customize your vendors
 12:24 finally so they're not all going to look
 12:26 like those that old man clone with the
 12:29 fur collar standing perfectly still so
 12:31 now they're going to animate and you'll
 12:35 be able to customise them using the
 12:36 pattern system so we're and there's
 12:39 gonna be I think photo of like 16 or 17
 12:44 different visual options for that so
 12:46 they're all going to look different and
 12:48 we showed one more heraldry item the
 12:51 heater shield also more seen stuff so
 12:56 you can see how betted south fetid swamp
 12:58 is coming along it's looking really cool
 13:00 and we talked about the new for rent
 13:05 flier that's going to go in everybody's
 13:06 backpack so you can know about all the
 13:09 different
 13:10 on just homeownership and our new flat
 13:14 this weekend's flash sales so last
 13:16 release we put in recipes for log cabin
 13:21 and a hollow log home and hanging plants
 13:24 and so in honor of that that's what our
 13:26 sales all about our sales all about
 13:27 trees and plants and the hollow log so
 13:30 if that looking for getting some more
 13:33 trees for your hometown or you've been
 13:37 eyeing that a hollow log home that we
 13:39 released now's your time to get that and
 13:42 one last thing before we get into things
 13:46 we want to show is I'll be DJing again
 13:50 next Friday and speaking of that we're
 13:56 gonna show off the awesome work that Bob
 14:02 the Builder has been doing right now
 14:04 where's Matt deep on him at the same
 14:07 time yeah so last release released 15
 14:16 there on this rotating chairs have you
 14:24 guys had any like barbed steel chairs
 14:26 for yeah again though Matt and Bob here
 14:32 now before we get into this I do I
 14:34 wanted to known something here so well I
 14:37 did not know that bob was going to do
 14:39 this but he is such a nice guy he's such
 14:41 a great team member to work with oh yeah
 14:43 you are and especially today because I
 14:47 got into the office and Bob had this
 14:50 ready for me his shirt there
 14:54 it's a wool shirt bullshit an artic wolf
 14:56 yeah and not just a regular wool shirt
 14:59 but it has its full deal from front to
 15:03 back and I love I like wolves new labels
 15:07 I love you should see my place I have
 15:09 like 60 plus wool shirts you guys some
 15:12 of you seen I've rotated him on the live
 15:14 streams and I've got a little like wolf
 15:17 any baby bear pump dinner on the Bears
 15:21 you know I got I got a bear wolf that
 15:22 makes no sense
 15:23 so ever but they look kind of like a
 15:25 hybrid and this is one step at a time we
 15:37 tried a dog husky so what do we have to
 16:06 add these guys okay so I started so a
 17:09 murrain who runs avatar radio convinced
 17:12 me to start DJing and every time we
 17:15 would go to these DJ parties the players
 17:17 have done this amazing job of using our
 17:20 deco system to cobble together a judo DJ
 17:25 like doing things like taking the pin
 17:27 Doros tablet climbing which is basically
 17:29 just like a table set up like a
 17:33 simulated two turntables but we have
 17:36 like a photograph
 17:37 like we have a wax cylinder phonograph
 17:38 so and then and then like one of the
 17:42 things I noticed is like the DJ's at the
 17:44 parties or like when I would be Jay I
 17:47 would like do like a jugular mode or
 17:51 like there was nothing that you could do
 17:53 if you were DJing a party and by the way
 17:55 avatars radio DJs I'm not sure people
 17:58 know this but beyond the dance parties
 18:00 they have the DJ's DJ lots of parties
 18:03 like they're broken parties like at
 18:06 least once or twice a week there's a
 18:09 party in the game that they're working
 18:10 so it's this is something that's
 18:13 happening fairly regularly so the
 18:15 challenge I put to Bob was when we
 18:19 create a DJ turntable type thing rock
 18:25 that fits in our world and for Matthew I
 18:29 said can we make some emotes that DJ's
 18:32 can you all there yeah ready yeah yeah
 18:45 I've got the same set up that we can
 18:47 show both versions of the turntables
 18:50 that Bob made both the ornate and a
 18:58 short term Network how did you turn
 19:00 unity oh no it's just to the you'll have
 19:04 to zoom back in because a scroll wheel
 19:06 sometimes will throw it into a different
 19:12 sure that's what it is yeah refresh when
 19:15 we came back so here you go you can draw
 19:17 it though Luisi music or anything like
 19:22 that audio levels I don't think there's
 19:26 any right now
 19:27 okay well imagine community if you will
 19:29 here with someone
 19:30 Oh your favorite well your favorite
 19:35 soundtrack the plane yeah it's all at
 19:39 unary but I'll just show it unless you
 19:41 want to walk the character around well
 19:43 it's just uh basically the same deal
 19:45 that we usually do we do kind of plain
 19:49 one
 19:50 and we do a second one that's more
 19:51 ornate yeah and in our game there's a
 19:55 reminder like we don't we don't have
 19:59 photographs in the traditional sense
 20:01 they don't play a rut disc yeah they
 20:06 play a wax cylinder so what we made was
 20:08 a duel instead I've been playing two
 20:11 turntables it's two wax cylinders so you
 20:15 got it's a dual wax cylinder player
 20:18 yes yeah you makes it special you've
 20:20 still got your mixing table here and
 20:22 then you've got your wax cylinders here
 20:24 and even some shelves inside to put all
 20:25 your wax Illinois's can you yeah
 20:32 actually I have no something for you
 20:36 guys to test out and so and so we
 20:38 introduced this craftable one last
 20:40 release though so we always try when we
 20:45 make stuff for the game and we always
 20:47 try to make a
 20:48 craftable version and a storm urgent
 20:52 because we always try to maintain a
 20:54 balance this is the one that you can
 20:56 craft and when star saw it he said this
 21:01 is the non ornate version of it yeah
 21:08 yeah I was shocked I was like wait a
 21:11 minute this was supposed to be the
 21:12 simple one this was supposed to be that
 21:17 looks like yeah no one's what dragon
 21:24 dragons there be dragons lights we want
 21:33 a star how there used to be more of
 21:37 those things yeah you can see Oh God
 21:41 look at that craftsmanship like in other
 21:44 words couldn't see star the attention to
 21:46 detail and the speakers there's even a
 21:49 third speaker here yeah come over
 21:51 subwoofer
 21:53 yeah there you go because Bob's all
 21:55 about that bass
 22:03 so and so so once we had or while we
 22:07 were building the turntable the other
 22:08 thing we of course needed was the modes
 22:12 for the DJ while they were playing music
 22:17 and that's where I come in so we needed
 22:20 a few because you didn't want to just
 22:21 have one looping thing since the DJ's
 22:23 often hanging out up there for a while
 22:25 for couple of hours so we made a few
 22:29 different ones and you've got your
 22:33 simple DJ table emote where you sit up
 22:36 here and kind of scratch the wax
 22:40 cylinders a little bit and hit some
 22:42 buttons I'm a rock out you know move
 22:48 your head to the beat when you want to
 22:52 when the DJ wants to get a little listen
 22:54 to make sure that they're on beat on
 22:55 track okay like DJ listen get your hand
 22:59 up to the headset to make sure you're
 23:01 doing all right and when the crowds you
 23:05 know kind of needs to get into it you
 23:09 can do DJ cheer raise your hand up to
 23:11 get the crowd going and something new we
 23:26 have now you all may have seen some of
 23:28 those because those were in for the last
 23:29 release but now when you're in the crowd
 23:31 we also added a new and if you're
 23:35 feeling it and you're really enjoying
 23:36 what the DJ is laying down you can play
 23:39 your overhead the music that you're
 23:47 listening to so we have a question from
 23:48 DJ DJ la any possibility to make it also
 23:53 an ethernet amplifier yeah so we're
 23:58 working on trying to make it so we can
 24:00 have dual functionality but that's a
 24:04 little bit more work because having to
 24:07 interact
 24:08 piece of tech on there turns out to be a
 24:12 lot more complicated because one's got
 24:13 to connect to a web stream even the
 24:15 others go so having connecting to two
 24:19 separate audio sources and one
 24:22 interactive my abuse of power can only
 24:37 go so far but yes that is the long term
 24:41 goal and DJ la said I hope I'm
 24:45 pronouncing that right DJ la Dragonfire
 24:47 does thank you super happy ok well let's
 25:00 uh we have a quest to get on here we
 25:03 we're gonna adventure through resolute
 25:05 seward salanio catacombs and bunker key
 25:08 with keith so if someone could go kick

 27:14 level design and Quest design usually a
 27:18 heavy mix of both sometimes puzzles
 27:26 there you go so I've talked a little bit
 27:33 about quest today but not directly about
 27:36 quest I'm gonna talk about some of the
 27:39 quest I've been making recently for this
 27:40 release in particular and some of the
 27:43 changes I made to some maps to
 27:46 accommodate these new quests so people
 27:50 may know that I've been making my quest
 27:52 browny out you may not allow to bring
 27:56 back

 28:03 very good no yeah because I have it down
 28:16 there quite a bit
 28:17 I see so I've been giving away in some
 28:25 of my recent quests I've been making the
 28:27 side quests where I am at the end giving
 28:31 away pieces of armor that relate to the
 28:34 virtues eventually you would get a set
 28:38 so you might have the these routes
 28:42 abbreviate their names the truth gloves
 28:44 the truth chest piece the truth boots
 28:48 and now we'll have the truth legs for
 28:53 this release and courage legs and love
 28:54 legs some reason people love when I talk
 28:57 about working on the love legs quest I'm
 29:03 not gonna give away all the secrets but
 29:08 I will say that in this one particular
 29:10 quest we're just gonna shoot through and
 29:12 we're gonna sort of focus on the new
 29:14 areas that I created for these books so
 29:17 one of the quests will end up sending us
 29:21 to resolute and that was pretty xx
 29:24 watching The Watcher go inside this
 29:27 mausoleum it looks like a mausoleum from
 29:31 the outside but if you didn't know
 29:33 already is actually the entrance the
 29:36 resolute sewers they have a extra fancy
 29:42 well the quest will take you to the
 29:45 resolute sewers
 29:48 you know we're going inside so the
 29:51 resolute sewers
 29:52 is a fairly simple sewer system there's
 29:55 some bandits down there and but for my
 30:01 purposes I needed like an extra section
 30:04 said I'm not going to describe too much
 30:06 we're just gonna run around some places
 30:14 are you got somebody attacking you oh I
 30:19 mean I can take it
 30:21 so requests that I made for the truth
 30:26 leg the courage legs love legs they are
 30:29 Tier four although there will be one bad
 30:32 guy or the end to is five but in general
 30:35 they are Tier four experience resolute
 30:38 sewers is a tube or area that's the
 30:43 scale we take tears if you don't know
 30:45 where that the scale we use typically
 30:47 most outdoor adventure areas are tier 1
 30:50 to 5 sometimes you'll get some sort of
 30:53 back area that has maybe a six or a or
 30:55 ten or maybe even higher level bad guys
 30:59 dragons for example might be to your 10
 31:02 or 15 something fire so this area this
 31:07 this little side hallway right here came
 31:10 into resolute few releases ago and it
 31:14 was was blocked off it was just a big
 31:16 bunch of rocks that's not the case
 31:18 anymore now it's the wall you can break
 31:21 through so this is actually the start of
 31:24 the new area my war fight spell that's
 31:36 are pretty simple
 31:43 look mages are falling you don't care
 31:47 for them big they'll break off then so
 31:53 now we weren't resolute sewers but
 31:56 there's a new area here that tunnels
 32:01 that were able to break through relevant
 32:03 to the storyline we're seeking some
 32:06 special place that apparently is only
 32:09 accessible through these weird ancient
 32:13 holes
 32:14 who'd you see now we've come up against
 32:16 these brick walls so it's not sewers
 32:18 it's a cave anymore apparently
 32:21 resolute sewers was built next to some
 32:23 ancient structure of some type I'm not
 32:33 gonna do all the tricks but we're gonna
 32:34 get a little going to ghost mode right
 32:36 here
 32:38 thank you guys don't see lock door right
 32:43 there no I don't have the key right now
 32:46 more collapsed areas probably gonna open
 32:54 every door I'm gonna cheat a living on
 33:02 the other side so if I did have the key
 33:03 I should be careful when I do open the
 33:06 door nice special area we have lost in
 33:14 you you could um I'm going extra crazy
 33:19 with our Old West specific compass
 33:23 markers so I actually do some pretty
 33:25 good a pretty good job leading you
 33:27 around I think but still giving you
 33:29 opportunities to get lost all right I'm
 33:36 gonna comment on this interesting well
 33:42 everyone ever done is nice to have that
 33:44 yeah that that's always my philosophy
 33:47 not gonna go into those rooms there are
 33:51 many side rooms
 33:55 here is bigger slightly special room
 34:04 because I'm cool we have got questions
 34:06 about what you're wearing oh yeah we

 36:56 catacombs has bugged me for a long time

 37:05 what it was was kind of like a big
 37:07 rectangular room with five or six elves
 37:13 and some elf tents in a sewer area
 37:16 didn't make any sense to me and anytime
 37:19 you would go into this area if you were
 37:21 level appropriate if you were the right
 37:23 ear then it didn't matter because there
 37:26 were too many elves too close to each
 37:27 other and they'll just hang up on you it
 37:29 kill you
 37:29 it was terrible experience and not very
 37:33 interesting like so this center section
 37:37 got a major overhaul that one big room
 37:39 area got a major overhaul there is still
 37:42 the secret side room with the demon for
 37:44 those people who care about that that I
 37:46 haven't touched it and there's also a
 37:48 big rotunda off to a different side that
 37:51 has a bunch of skeletons in it didn't
 37:53 touch that shift it around a little bit
 37:55 but the heart of the scene has changed
 38:01 quite a bit though this is where you
 38:04 come in and this kind of hasn't changed
 38:06 so much but we go in a little bit and
 38:09 right here would have been sort of like
 38:11 a crossroads with that big boring room
 38:17 alright for whoever originally created
 38:18 it that you listening but it was reborn
 38:22 and then we see it's a it's not sewers
 38:26 anymore it is a proper catacomb that's
 38:29 been in its name it's unlocked
 38:32 separating mr. candles yep we still have
 38:36 elves in here and apparently they got
 38:38 some sort of big operation going on see
 38:40 they're Carn things around
 38:43 we still have exits that go to cross
 38:51 connect - so there's a little crystal
 38:53 right there you combine the wave exits
 38:54 that connect to you the order sewers
 38:56 Bolton and combs you know some of them
 39:00 overlap that's that's really cool that
 39:02 actually brings me to a Kurt's question

 39:25 sort of explore new island and you open
 39:30 the casket and I open the caskets but
 39:33 the candles you can turn on it oh oh
