The, as yet unnamed, second episode of {{SotA}} is planned for a winter 2019 release.

It is possible, but unconfirmed, that navigable Boats will also be included in Episode 2. [https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/?page_id=40715 Stretch Goals for Episode] currently include Mounts, but further stretch-goals including Flexible Lot Placement, Pack Animals, and Elven Playable Race may be added.

A mockup of the map for Episode 2 shows three new islands to the north of Novia, including the Serpent Archipelago, Atos' Atol, and the Chaos Isles, as well as some new small islands off the east side of the continent. This is preliminary, and subject to change.
