The Rise

[[The Rise]] is the largest dungeon in [[Novia]]. It was the first of the main hubs in the [[Underworld]] and connects multiple dungeon scenes. While simple passage through the massive dungeon for travel purposes only takes a few minutes once mastered, those fearless adventurers brave enough to take a deeper dive will find multiple hours of exploration ahead of them.

The Rise is NOT for the unskilled adventurer, the faint of heart, or those who lose their way easily. It includes seemingly endless passages, dozens of chambers, multiple skill-based challenges, a half-dozen unique player experiences, and several encounters targeted at groups of skilled players. The Rise is old school, hardcore dungeon crawling at its finest. Bring friends you trust, plenty of supplies, and maybe even some graph paper!

Most NPC vendors buy items back at 80% of the item "value". A few select vendors will pay a full 100% of the item value. Portalarium calls this a "tag match". Any particular NPC may offer a tag match price for more than one item category.

To identify such vendors, simply see what a vendor will pay you for a given item, then see what a completely unrelated vendor will pay. It will help to have a single un-stacked item in your inventory, or you can control-drag a single item to the exchange pane. Items with a value of less than 5g will always pay full value due to rounding.

Note that what any NPC will pay for an item with a durability stat is affected by the durability. This is mostly important for weapons and armor. A weapon at less than 100% of brand new durability will sell for a lower price, but is still subject to a tag match mark-up.
